Destinations365 was a successful boutique travel company which had grown well during the past five years. The management expressed the feeling that their business had become stagnant and the profits were diminishing. They thought that competition was getting tough and customers were more demanding leaving less room for increasing profit. Consequently, they were not sure where to focus for future business and diversification.
We analysed the various aspects of the business such as customer segments, customer source, revenue streams, margins by product, revenue share by products as well as customer segments, top products sold, marketing spends, etc. A survey was conducted to understand the level of satisfaction among the existing clientele. The business analysis along with the findings of the survey were used to determine the key strengths and focus areas of the travel business. Further, we advised on ways to engage with the existing clientele, retain them and use them for increasing business volume. A strategy was devised to ensure consistency in marketing efforts and to achieve targeted goals.
